Rio Del Mar, August 2009
I finally got to take my family to the beach that I grew up at! They love boogy boarding and jumping the waves just like I did as a kid! And true to form, I now love sitting on the warm sand watching just like my Mom use to do! We also got to see a friend of mine that vacations at that beach every year and it just so happened that she was there the exact saturday we went! I loved being there with my own little family and taking my Mom with us to enjoy the beach together! I LOVE THE BEACH!!
M. boogy boarding in the waves. She was pretty good!

One Wonderful Week in CA
What a wonderful week we had with our best friends! Mara got to have her BEST friend from Washington come to stay with us for a week! They were inseperable the entire time! All the kids got along so well, we barely knew they were around! I'm glad they didn't melt out here with this 100 degree heat!
Kaylee, Mara, Keala and Lanea
Kaylee and Mara
It was very difficult to separate Mara and Kaylee at the airport. They were bawling! There was weeping and wailing with alligator tears! I started to cry! It was breaking my heart to see them crying so hard! I am so thankful for such good friends and good friends for my children. I could not ask for more. We have been so blessed to find good friends wherever we have lived! Thank you all!

Keala's graduation
Keala graduated from Kindergarten and this was our first graduation ceremony for a kindergartner in our family. It was pretty cute and they really worked hard at making each child feel special. She had wonderful teachers and helpers in her classroom and I'm thankful for their love and support of my little Keala!

Keala was the first child up to graduate and for each child they read a little blurb about each one and had previously asked the children questions such as in 20 years what will you be doing. How many children will you have, who will you be married to, etc. Apparently Keala will be married to Kyle, whom I don't know, and have lots of children and work in a store. In her spare time she will play with her kids.

Memorial Day BBQ with Abi & Guapo
Rayce wouldn't let Guapo get more than three and half inches from him!
Lanea, Kellan and Seiyani (my otha daughta from anotha motha)
Kellan spent as much time in the water as the big girls did! What a trooper.

Mara and Ishiqa rowed around the plake several times and got pretty good at controlling the boat!
My little Keala - having a great time!

The kids and I went up to my Uncle Scott's and Aunt D'Anna's where my parents are staying while they are on their mission and we played in the plake all afternoon! The kids had a great time rowing around and swimming, feeding the fish, catching tadpoles and just having a wonderful time in the beautiful outdoors!

Foot Bath
Have any of you had a foot bath before? It is a process of pulling the toxins out of your body through your feet. Very interesting and honestly, VERY disgusting! If you get queazy, do not look at the following photos, they are disgusting! But also, pretty cool, knowing that all these toxins came out of my body. At the same time, I still have more in me! I can't wait to do more foot baths!
In the beginning, there was clear water...
This is only half way through, about 15 minutes. This is about as bad as it got the first time I did a foot bath. I have been taking supplements to help release the toxins in my body to flush them out. It was working, because...
This is what the water looked like after 35 minutes! It was almost opaque!

I know!!! DISGUSTING! And to think this was all in my body! It looks like a pond that has sat all year long and grown algea and muck and what-not!

Easter morning with curlers in the hair and robes on looking for easter eggs! Can it get any better than that?

Lanea and Seiyani were pretending to throw a ball at Rayce because he would make this funny face. They were laughing so hard I had to come and see what it was all about! Rayce didn't seem to mind since they weren't acutally throwing the ball at him, but he would make "the pirate face" each time!

Our Garden
From these humble beginnings grew forth beautiful plants that we will be able to have sustenance from! Thanks Abi and Guapo for helping us on the path to gardening! The kids love to see their plants growing and are actually enjoying being in charge of their own plots. We've already eaten some lettuce from Keala's plot! Keep on growing little plants!

Gratitude
I'm here listening to the music they want us to learn for Girl's Camp and it is beautiful! It puts me in a pondering mood and makes me grateful for what I have. And I have been so blessed with a family who loves each other, friends who are there when you need them to either cry on a shoulder or laugh your sides sore, or pretend to be teenagers again doing chinese fire drills at midnight after going to see Twilight for the umpteenth time! I love you! I love my dear friends in other states around the country that have accepted me for who I am and liked me anyway! Thank you to all of you! My heart is full!
Hugs to ya!

Lanea and Darren snowshoeing
Darren was so excited to take Lanea snowshoeing that he packed them up a WEEK early!! They had a great time, especially on the way back home! It was down hill almost the entire time so Lanea got on the sled and slid back to the car! The snow was so high they decided to dig out the windows in the hut so they could have some light inside. I'm so glad to have a husband that enjoys taking his children out for adventures! Love you!

Spiderman and Doggy Bo
Kellan is no longer Kellan. Everyday, he is either Superman, Batman, or Spiderman. He does not like us calling him anything but one of the superhero names, but it gets confusing when he changes capes or "masks" several times a day! He came up with his own mask for spiderman since we do not have a real spiderman outfit or mask. He found his Lightening McQueen underpants and put them on his head and became...Spiderman!! So I helped him out a little so he could at least see through the "eye holes".
All of my children at one point in time has become our family puppy and now it's Rayce's turn. When Kellan is a puppy, his name is Little Joe, when Rayce is a puppy, his name is Little Bo. So here is our pet, little Bo.

Keala's haircut
I hope she has learned her lesson this time! She hates her hair so short and honestly, so do I. She cut it almost to the skin right in front, AGAIN, all because she said she had a knot. I'm hoping that THIS time, the consequence is such that she won't do it again! Hopefully her hair will start to grow fast!
